As a liberal arts university, we are passionate about equipping our students to enter the world with a working knowledge in all areas. We believe that our future educators should be equipped to teach using current curriculum and technology. With the iPad, our classrooms are larger, our curriculum is more in-depth, and our method of delivery is not only helping to reach our students, but our students' students. The initiative is also designed to prepare students for the edTPA (Teacher Performance Assessment), a national multiple-measure assessment required by the Illinois State Board of Education.
In today's ever-changing world of the visual arts and digital graphics, what better way to study than with the iPad? Whether a student is studying painting, photography or graphics, the iPad serves as a window into the entire field of Art & Digital Media. Through online video tutorials, photo editing apps, and easy access to classic paintings and architecture, the world is at our fingertips through iLearn@Olivet.
